The Ocular Oncology Service is a world-class center for the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of eye tumors and cancers. This service is the largest eye cancer center for patients with common and rare cancers, many of which are serious life-threatening conditions.
There are a variety of tumors that can exist in the eye’s tissues. They include melanoma, nevus, metastasis, hemangioma, retinoblastoma, astrocytoma, lymphoma, squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma.

The Ocular Oncology Service uses cutting-edge treatments and explores the newest treatment techniques, including those used to deliver radiotherapy and chemotherapy to the eye with minimal side effects. The specialists are also working with radiation oncologists, pediatric oncologists, and neurosurgeons to improve therapies.
